Iced Cocktails! Cool Down with These Grown-Up Drinks

Drinks, drinks, drinks. There’s no more satisfying refreshment than a deliciously iced summer cocktail during a drastically hot day. Try these fun and fruity cocktails for when it’s time for you to truly chill out.

Happy Hour Lemonade:

Every hour should be happy hour with these guys.

INGREDIENTS

6 cups of lemonade
1 cup maraschino cherry juice
1 cup bourbon
Juice of 1 orange
Juice of 1 lemon
Shaved for serving
lemon slices and maraschino cherries, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix lemonade, honey, and bourbon in pitcher. Add juice of lemon and orange. Mix again. Serve over ice with garnish.

Bourbon Arnold Palmers:

Like an Arnold Palmer… but with bourbon. Yum.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups boiling water
4 teaspoons loose English breakfast tea(or 4 tea bags)
1/2 cup bourbon
Juice of 1 orange
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons Simple Syrup for Iced Tea
Ice, for serving
Orange slices, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour water over tea, and steep 5 to 7 minutes. Strain, and refrigerate. Stir in bourbon, juices, and syrup. Serve over ice with garnish.

Pina Colada Paradise:

Because every paradise should have a pina colada.

INGREDIENTS

3 oz. light Rum

6 oz pineapple juice

2 ounces coconut cream

2 cups ice

Pineapple and maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions
  1. In a blender, combine rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream and ice. Blend until smooth (I usually do two cycles of blending so I have an extra smooth pina colada).
  2. Pour into a hurricane or high ball glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and maraschino cherries.
