Cheers to Summer! Summer Drinks to Take On-the-Go

Summer hydration? We can cheers to that. On-the-go beverages are a must when going out and about during this hot weather. Here are a few fruity mixes that are perfect (and pretty!) for toting around.

Lime and Blackberry Coolers:  You’re going to love this tart treat.

6 cups water, divided
3 cups fresh blackberries
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
8 thin lime slices
Fresh blackberries (optional)

Place 1 cup water and 3 cups blackberries in a blender; process until smooth. Press blackberry puree through a sieve into a large pitcher; discard seeds. Add remaining 5 cups water, sugar, and juice to pitcher; stir until sugar dissolves. Place 1 lime slice and a few blackberries, if desired, into each of 8 glasses; pour about 1 cup limeade over each serving.

Pineapple Slushees:  The pineapple obsession is real.

2 cups pineapple ( freshly chopped ) 1 banana
1 cup vanilla greek yogurt ( or plain )
1 cup ice cube

Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth.

Chia Fruit Water: YUM and healthy!
4 C. Cold Water
1 Medium Lemon, Half Juiced & Half Sliced
1/2 C. Fresh Fruit (I used Strawberries, Blackberries, and Pomegranate.)
1 Tbsp. Honey
2 Tsp. Chia Seeds
Fill a large container with water. Add all of the ingredients and give it a good shake.
